Content Removal

1. Where DailyBlend's Discover Content Comes From

DailyBlend's Discover feature shows recipes sourced from publicly available recipe websites. For every sourced recipe we credit the original site and link directly to the original page. Ingredient lists are factual information; the cooking directions we display are rewritten in our own words rather than copied from the source. Our crawler honors robots.txt.

We do this because we want to send readers to recipe creators, not replace them. If you are a recipe author and would rather not be included, we will remove your content — no questions asked.

2. Requesting Removal of Your Content

If you are the author or rights holder of content that appears in DailyBlend and you would like it removed, email support@dailyblendapp.com with:

• The URL(s) of your original content, or your site's domain if you want everything from your site removed
• A way to verify you are the author or rights holder (an email from the site's domain is usually enough)

We aim to act on removal requests within a few business days, and removing an entire site's content also stops us from sourcing that site in the future.

3. What Removal Covers

Removal takes your content out of Discover and out of our sourcing going forward. Copies that individual users previously saved into their own private household libraries are personal-use copies under those users' control, and are not part of our public distribution.

4. Content Uploaded by Users

DailyBlend users can also import recipes and photos into their private libraries themselves. If you believe user-submitted content in DailyBlend infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@dailyblendapp.com identifying the work, the allegedly infringing material, and your contact information, along with a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized and that your notice is accurate. We review such notices promptly and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate.
